• Lesson fees are payable in advance for the whole term on the first day of every month, no later than the 1st lesson of the month.

• There are no lessons offered on Public Holidays**.  Please negotiate another lesson during the term at a mutually agreeable time determined between you and your teacher.

• When you book one of our teachers, you are booking a fixed time reservation exclusively for the duration of the term. Single, fornightly and casual lessons are not available except for the first trial, no obligation lesson.

• Registration and payment needs to be finalized at least 4 days before your first lesson.

• General lesson duration recommendations are 60 mins. for adults, and 30 mins. for prep and primary school students. Longer lessons are recommended for students who’ve been playing for more  than 4 years,  doing exams or need additional theory/aural training.

• Lessons on school holidays are offered separately depending on the availability of your teacher.

• Music books are bought and paid for by the student or students’ parents/guardians. Your teacher will direct you to what “MusiKidz Piano Studio” suggests to purchase for the piano/voice lessons.

 

ATTENDANCE POLICY

• Once the term has commenced, you are obligated to attend all your lessons until the end of the term.

• The lesson time you book cannot be changed for the duration of the term, except for Public

       Holidays. There are no “Make-Up” lessons due to a full schedule.

 

 

STUDENTS’ RESPONSIBILITIES

• To bring the correct music and practice notebook(s) to each lesson; to respect my piano

        and piano room;  to practice regularly as guided by me.

 

PARENTS’ RESPONSIBILITIES

• To ensure “practicing” is done regularly, positively encourage practicing as advised

       by teacher; to respect my teaching method and decisions regarding exam entry.

 

PUBLIC HOLIDAY LESSONS

• There are no lessons on public holidays. Please arrange an alternative time with your

        teacher during the term.

 

MAKE-UP/CANCELLATION POLICY

•   WE HAVE A “NO MAKE-UP” POLICY DUE TO A FULL SCHEDULE.

          All lessons cancelled by the instructor will be replaced within 90 days at no additional cost. If the make-up is not scheduled within 90 days,              the class payment is forfeited. There will be no rescheduling, make ups, or refunds for missed lessons (no-shows), regardless of the reason,              NO EXCEPTIONS. 

•  You must give 14-days’ notice in advance for cancellation (stopping) of future lessons for the following month(s), so that your teacher can       plan and rearrange their schedule.

 

SCHEDULING

• If any changes need to be made in reference to scheduling, your teacher will need to approve it based on their availability and time slots.

 

 

PHOTOGRAPHS

• Photographs and videos of students may be taken during lessons and recitals for marketing

       purposes by “Home Piano Teacher.” The parent or legal guardian will need to sign a photo/video consent form to give “MusiKidz Piano Studio”         permission to take photos of you and/or your child and use them in our printed and online publicity.  If you do not want the photographs or             videos to be used, please contact us at (786) 306-4558.

 

CHANGES TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS

• “Home Piano Teacher” reserves the right to change any/all of these terms and conditions as

        necessary.

• All prices are subject to change without prior notice due to currency fluctuation, fuel price and/or unforeseen economic circumstances.
